Heritage Foundation scholar Edwin Meese spoke to an audience attending the National Conservative Student Conference sponsored by the Young America’s Foundation. In his remarks, Mr. Meese discussed the future direction of the Supreme Court, including the issues of religious freedom, property rights and environmental regulations, the centralization of power in the federal government, and the American penal system.
