Wireless technology producers and service providers testified before the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee about the supply chain for emerging 5G technologies. The witnesses testified to the security and integrity of the country’s telecommunications supply chain, as well as efforts to secure networks while the transition to 5G begins. They also talked about the role of the government in mitigating risks to the network by other factors, such as equipment and services from outside vendors. close
