C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2020 LCV Cities Tour” in San Antonio, Texas, from January 11-15, 2020, to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Spectrum cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. Born and raised in San Antonio, author John Phillip Santos told the story of his family’s migration to San Antonio including the history and culture of Latinos in the area. Mr. Santos is the author of the memoir, Places Left Unfinished at the Time of Creation, and is considered the first Mexican-American Rhodes Scholar.
