World War II veterans discussed their experiences with the U.S. Army in Europe. Jack Goldstein served as a B-17 gunner with the Army Air Corps - he died on January 17, 2021, at the age of 96. Retired Colonel Frank Cohn served in an intelligence unit after fleeing Nazi Germany with his family. The Friends of the World War II Memorial hosted this event as part of their fifth annual Teachers Conference and provided the video. close
