At the daily White House briefing, Press Secretary Jen Psaki was joined by National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan to discuss foreign policy and news of the day. Mr. Sullivan announced the U.S. would no longer support offensive operations in Yemen. He also said the administration would issue a memorandum prioritizing LGBTQ human rights in foreign policy and discussed possible targeted sanctions against Myanmar officials. The press secretary reiterated the importance of passing coronavirus pandemic relief and the goal of bipartisan support for the package. close
