In 1996, the Supreme Court heard oral argument in United States v. Virginia, a case challenging Virginia Military Institute’s male-only admissions policy. To commemorate the 25th anniversary, the two appellate attorneys who argued the case recalled how they prepared their strategies. Also, former clerks of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg discussed her role in the decision and her fight for gender equality. The American College of Trial Lawyers and Supreme Court Historical Society co-hosted this event and provided the video. close
