The Hudson Institute hosted a virtual discussion about U.S.-Saudi Arabia relations. The panel, which comprised Hudson fellows and a Princeton University professor, underscored the importance of the U.S. maintaining a strategic alliance with Saudi Arabia amid China’s growing interest in the Arabian Peninsula and the threat Iran poses to the Middle East. The discussion came amid Chinese President Xi Jinping’s upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia and ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran about a renewed nuclear deal. close
