Coronation of King Charles III

Charles III and Camilla, the king and queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms, were officially crowned in London. They traveled in a procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, where the ceremony took place. The U.K.'s previous coronation occurred 70 years earlier for Charles' mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II. U.S. first lady Jill Biden was among the many foreign dignitaries who attended the event.
