Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves Robles joined White House and State Department officials for a discussion on cybersecurity at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. Shortly after the Costa Rican president’s inauguration in May 2022, the country fell victim to a major cyber attack, which severely crippled government operations and services. The U.S. came to the aid of Costa Rica, sending the FBI to help with recovery efforts. close
