Veterans Affairs Department officials updated lawmakers on efforts to improve VA.gov after glitches earlier in the year led to delays in processing disability compensation claims for more than 30,000 veterans. Officials acknowledged they were still working on several thousand of these claims. They added they were also conducting a full review of VA.gov to determine what exactly happened and to prevent it in the future. close
