President Clinton delivered his D-Day address to American veterans. Standing in front of the 1st Division Monument outside the Old Executive Office Building, the president paid tribute to the soldiers who served with the 1st Infantry Division and other military unites during the D-Day campaign. President Clinton and the first lady shook hands with the veterans and their spouses on the East Lawn of the Old Executive Office Building at the close of the president’s remarks. close
