As part of a two-day conference on “Health, Science and Food for America,” speakers discussed different aspects on the topic of “The Population Challenge.” Focuses of the talks included the growth and aging of the population and the changing demographics of family structure. Speakers also discussed effectively bringing the findings of biomedical research to the consumer, addressing critical public policy questions, and challenging investors to rethink their own strategies. Following prepared remarks the participants took questions from the audience. close
