Yesterday President Clinton announced a six-month moratorium on legal action resulting from the Helms-Burton Bill which allows Americans to sue foreign companies doing business in Cuba on property seized by the Castro regime after the 1959 revolution. Representative Dan Burton (R-Indiana) and others criticized the president’s action and described results they hoped for from the legislation.
