David Hinson, who will retire from his position as FAA administrator at the end of the year, reflected on his four years at the agency. He spoke about several accomplishments, including modernizing the air traffic control system, and reforming how the FAA procures equipment and how the agency is financed. He also stressed the need for continued improvements in these areas to meet the needs of a continually growing air travel industry. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience. close
