It is designed to provide seniors with a wide variety of options and ensure the program’s solvency for the next 15 years. The savings would come primarily from seven percent annual premium increases, competition among several health care providers and the elimination of supplemental health insurance plans. American Medical Association officials announced a new Medicare reform proposal.
