Ambassador Jagmetti, who had recently resigned over some comments about a public relations war with Jewish groups in a memo which was leaked to the press, talked about the Swiss government’s response to allegations of Holocaust victims' assets in Swiss banks. He also explained his perspective on the memo and stressed that his government is committed to returning any documented assets to their rightful owners of appropriate charities.
