Following their meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Bill Clinton briefed reporters on their hopes for a lasting peace in the Middle East. They stressed the need for U.S. involvement and Israeli security as necessary ingredients for a comprehensive piece. They also took questions about the peace process and other regional security issues.
