Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu briefed reporters after his more than two-hour meeting with President Bill Clinton on the state of the Middle East peace process. He stressed his commitment to building Jewish housing in the mostly Palestinian areas of East Jerusalem and that the Palestinian failure to ensure Israeli security was responsible for the current impasse.
