The International Labor Organization hosted a forum to discuss how the benefits of economic globalization and free trade can be distributed to as many citizens around the world as possible. Assistant Secretary John Shattuck praised the International Labor Organization for its work in international labor standards. Ambassador Bill Richardson spoke about the importance of worker and human rights in multilateral negotiations. The participants also took questions from the audience. Michel Hansenne concluded the program with his proposals to deal with these challenges. close
