WASHINGTON, D.C.— The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation’s Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet will hold a hearing on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2:45 p.m. titled, “Reauthorization of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act”. The hearing will focus on issues related to the reauthorization of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act (STELA), and whether present law appropriately protects and promotes a video market that is responsive to consumer demands and expectations.
