Administrator Aida Alvarez of the Small Business Administration spoke to the 14th annual conference of Latino business leaders. She talked about the future of NAFTA and the implementation of the agreement as well as her work and goals at the Small Business Administration. Assistant Treasury Secretary George Munoz talked about the standard of living throughout the world when there are free markets and involvement by communities of all races and backgrounds. He said globalization is “irreversible” but it is imperative that all communities participate. Following their presentations, Ms. Alvarez and Mr. Munoz answered questions from the audience. close
