Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) and Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) responded to the announcement by state attorneys general of a settlement with the tobacco industry. They expressed concern about the adequacy of the announced settlement, including the level of compensation and the end of tobacco advertising which targets young people.
