Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the action the Israeli government has taken to fulfill their agreement made at the Wye River Summit. He explained that the Palestinians have not fulfilled the obligations to which they had agreed. President Clinton talked about the commitment that the United States has to helping establish peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. He commented on regional security in the Middle East. After their prepared remarks they responded to questions from reporters. In response to a reporter’s question President Clinton stated that he has no intention of resigning from office and said that he did not commit perjury. Scenes outdoors as President Clinton left the news conference were shown. close
