Participants talked about mental health care for veterans, and particularly that associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dr. Kussman opened with an overview of the Department of Veterans Affairs' mental health program called “National Conversation on Mental Health.” Other participants talked about returning veterans to combat, implementing a long-term strategic plan for mental health, and the treatment of PTSD.
