The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held a confirmation hearing on four nominees to the U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors, including Victoria Reggie Kennedy and former Office of Management and Budget Director James C. Miller III. Committee Chair Tom Carper (D-DE), the only senator present to ask questions, asked the nominees about the security and management of the Postal Service (USPS), as well as possible ideas for innovation to ensure the future viability of the USPS.
