The U.S. House of Representatives convened with one-minute speeches and then worked on a Financial Services bill, which would let banks, investment companies & insurances companies enter each other’s markets with limits. It passed with a vote of 214-213. They then moved onto legislation concerning unfunded mandates on the private sector. close
