Author Joseph Epstein talked about his newest book, Snobbery: The American Version, published by Houghton Mifflin. In it, he argued that there are many subsets of snobbery in contemporary America, including political, cultural, social-class, ethnic, and even health snobbery. Mr. Epstein talked about the history of snobbery as well as the philosophical connections to snobbery. After his presentation, the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
