Chuck Pfarrer talked about his book, "Warrior Soul: The Memoir of a Navy SEAL", published by Random House. The author was a U.S. Navy SEAL for eight years. He served in Beirut and Central America. He was a member of the elite SEAL Team Six, and worked as part of a peacekeeping force that patrolled Lebanon in the early 1980s. During his talk, Mr. Pfarrer discussed his experiences and world events, and compared and contrasted the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut to more recent acts of international terrorism. He also stated that Iraq had had weapons of mass destruction, and that the country had been a haven for international terrorists. Following prepared remarks, Mr. Pfarrer responded to questions from the audience. close
