Author James Bovard discussed his book “Terrorism & Tyranny: Trampling Freedom, Justice and Peace to Rid the World of Evil” at FreedomFest, hosted by Young America’s Foundation. Mr. Bovard examined how the post-September 11 policies of the American government have been both effective and ineffective in his opinion. The author criticized many of the Bush administration’s policies, including the Patriot Act, war on drugs, and homeland security. After his remarks, Mr. Bovard responded to questions from the audience. close
