Lawrence Korb, former Assistant Defense Secretary for the Reagan administration, 1981-85, talked about the investigations into U.S. treatment of detainees in Abu Ghraid prison in Iraq. The investigations include the Schlesinger report released Tuesday and a report by Generals George Fay and Anthony Jones. Mr. Korb is critical of the Defense Department’s handling of the detainees and thinks responsibility for the handling the issue goes to the top of the Defense Department. He thinks Secretary Rumsfeld should resign. He responded to audience telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail. close
