Mr. Cavanagh spoke about the teaching of evolution and intelligent design. The Kansas State Board of Education voted earlier in November to change the state’s curriculum, recommending that schools explore the theory of intelligent design. Intelligent design involves the belief that certain aspects of the natural world show signs of having been designed by some sort of a master architect or designer. Mr. Cavanagh responded to questions and comments from viewers.
