A panel moderated by Professor Friedberg spoke on the topic, “Intelligence Challenges and North Korea: What Do We Really Know About the DPRK?” Panelists talked about a nuclear weapons test conducted by North Korea in the previous week, technological capabilities of North Korea, intelligence challenges in information gathering in North Korea, and the likely impact of nuclear weapons on the Korean peninsula. They also responded to questions from the audience.

The National Press Club, Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School, and Foreign Policy magazine sponsored the forum on “The Current State of North Korea and the Future of the U.S.-Korea Alliance.” close
