BBC News coverage of Parliamentary election returns continued into Friday May 7, 2010.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown made a statement about the process of forming a government following inconclusive election results resulting in a “hung Parliament.” In his remarks he said the Labour Party would be willing to consider electoral reforms and submit a referendum to the British people.
