The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee held an oversight hearing on the Transportation Security Administration. In his testimony, John Pistole defended the TSA’s aggressive pat-downs and full body scans at airports, saying that the screenings were necessary to protect the nation’s fliers.
