President Obama spoke to reporters after a meeting with state insurance officials. Following brief remarks on the sinking of a ferry off South Korea’s coast, he cited statistics on the Affordable Care Act. He said that 35 percent of the 8 million people who had signed up for health insurance through state exchanges were between the ages of 18 and 34, and talked about the impact of the law on health care expenses.
