Nicholas Massa gave a tour of the Cincinnati Union Terminal and talked about how it became one of the last great train stations. Union Terminal is a symbol of the city and a widely regarded example of the Art Deco style. When it opened in 1933, Union Terminal changed rail travel for Cincinnati.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2015 LCV Cities Tour” in Cincinnati, Ohio, from June 26-July 1 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Time Warner Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The history segments air on American History TV (AHTV) on C-SPAN3 and the literary events/non-fiction author segments air on Book TV on C-SPAN2. close
