The 2016 Democratic Platform Committee met to receive the report of the Platform Drafting Committee on the proposed party platform for the upcoming national convention in Philadelphia. They reviewed the draft and took comments and voted on amendments. This portion included votes on raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, immigration reform, and changes to the criminal justice system. This Southeast Regional Forum was the last in a series of regional events.  close
