President Trump met with manufacturing executives and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) at the White House. He announced that a new survey from NAM showed that 93 percent of industry executives were optimistic on the future of the economy, a significant increase from 56 percent in the last quarter. President Trump said this “surge of optimism” is another vote of confidence in his plan to bring back more jobs to the U.S., lower taxes, and provide a level playing field for workers. close
