The 50th anniversary of North Korea’s seizing the Navy Ship USS Pueblo, with President Lyndon Johnson’s calls and address to the nation from January 1968.  Participants include Defense Secretary Robert McNamara; U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Arthur Goldberg; and Washington Star reporter Jack Horner. Also Mitchell Lerner, Associate History Professor at the Ohio State University and Director of the Institute for Korean Studies, talked about the seizure. He is also the author of The Pueblo Incident: A Spy Ship and the Failure of American Foreign Policy. close
