In his first speech on the Senate floor since being appointed to fill the seat of former Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) spoke on “a matter of great importance to the nation.” That matter was the importance of rights for sexual assault survivors and the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
