Arizona Governor Doug Ducey (R) announced new actions in hopes of reducing the number of positive coronavirus cases continuing to rise in the state since its reopening. He ordered the closure of bars, gyms, movie theaters, and water parks. The governor also announced that the first day of school would be delayed to August 17, 2020. The governor urged everyone to stay home if possible and if to wear a mask if they do venture out. close
