The National Apprenticeship Act of 2021 reauthorizes the act and is aimed at creating apprenticeship opportunities over the upcoming five years. Lawmakers also approved a new rule that imposes fines on members who do not comply with new screening procedures to enter the House chamber: $5,000 for the first offense and $10,000 for each offense thereafter.
