Scholars discussed the rise of China’s political economy and economic growth during the 15th annual Conference on China' Economic Development and U.S.-China Economic Relations hosted by George Washington University. Several topics were discussed, including the state of U.S.-China relations, trade imbalances, challenges to China’s continued growth, and the role of financial markets in China’s economy.
