During a news conference following the weekly Senate Republican caucus luncheon, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) reiterated the party’s support for Israel following deadly attacks by Hamas in the southern part of the country. He said the party would be examining the Biden administration’s supplemental request to include funding for Israel and Ukraine, but they want U.S. border security to be taken seriously as well. close
