Teams of three correspondents each from the London Sunday Telegraph and the New Yorker magazine debated the issue of whether it would be a better world if the 1960s had never happened. This program was originally carried on Britain’s BBC Radio Three. Speakers considered the decade repellant due to the caving of the forces of conservatism and the moral chaos and in contrast to the expansion of civil rights, advances in technology including the Moon landings. Much was discussed on the conflicts that arose and the change that came from it. Questions from the audience followed. close
