Representatives Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Cori Bush (D-MO) talked about the importance of the Equal Rights Amendment, which protects individuals against sex discrimination. The two, who serve as co-chairs of the Congressional Caucus for the Equal Rights Amendment, spoke at a Georgetown University Law School event. To date, 35 of the required 38 states had ratified the amendment. close
