During a ceremony in the White House East Room, President Bill Clinton awarded “Young American Medals” to four individuals for their acts of bravery or community service. The first recipient of the Young American Medal for Bravery was Carlo Montez Clark of Belleville, Illinois. For service, Robyn Mae Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The second Young American Medal for Bravery was Brandon Sisco of Texarkana, Texas. The final recipient of a Young American Medal for Bravery was Amanda Stewart of Keyes, Oklahoma. Attorney General, Janet Reno was in attendance and spoke. close
