President Obama responds to a question from Christi Powers, White House Correspondent for The Los Angeles Times on the time line for a final agreement and the inadvisability of Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu speaking before a Joint Session of Congress in early March. President suggested that a meeting with Netanyahu would not be in accord with alleged diplomatic protocols that bar such meetings at the White House with foreign leaders in the midst of domestic political campaigns. The President suggested the Prime Minister's speech to a Joint Session of Congress came at a sensitive time and would "sour negotiations" for a final nuclear agreement with Iran. close
