U.N. Security Council Meeting on Syria

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley spoke about the use of chemical weapons in Syria’s ongoing civil war during a debate on the issue in the United Nations Security Council in New York City, condemning what she said were complicit actions by Russia and Iran that helped lead to the attack. Ambassador Haley also warned that continued inaction by the U.N. and its Security Council would lead to other nations taking unilateral action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government. close
