Telephone lines were opened for comments on the question, “What was the most significant news event of your lifetime?”

The Washington Journal today will provide an exclusive look inside the Newseum, a museum of news that presents five centuries of news history, artifacts, and the issues raised as the delivery of news changes. Throughout the program parts of the new building on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC were explored a few days before it opens its doors to the public on April 11. Live shots outside the Newseum were shown. Also Newseum president Peter Prichard was interviewed in the Newseum. close
